Jinaverse Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Rounder Works (hereinafter "the Company") values the privacy of users of Jinaverse (hereinafter "the Service") and complies with relevant laws and regulations, including the Personal Information Protection Act. This policy includes information regarding the change in operating entity and the succession of data following the transition from an individual developer (Appstitcher) to a sole proprietorship.

2. Items and Methods of Personal Information Collection

2.1 Required Information

  • Performance schedule information (Performance name, date, location, notes)
  • Quiz result data
  • Notification settings (Permission status, notification time)
  • App usage records (Feature usage statistics, error information)

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

  • Device information (iOS version, device model, app version)
  • Network information (IP address, carrier information)
  • App usage analysis data (Screen views, frequency of feature use)
  • App error logs and crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics)
  • Service usage statistics (Firebase Analytics)
  • Firebase Installation ID (Non-identifiable information for app instance identification)

⚠️ This app does not use advertising services and does not collect or use Advertising Identifiers (IDFA).

2.3 Optional Information

  • Account information (Email, username) *
  • User profile information (Nickname, profile photo) *
  • Cloud sync data *
  • Feedback and inquiry details

* Items marked with * may be collected upon future service expansion.

3. Purpose of Personal Information Use

  • Performance schedule management and notifications
  • Providing performance-related news and information
  • Providing quiz features and saving results
  • Local storage of performance reviews and photos (No server transmission)
  • App feature improvement and user experience enhancement
  • Service stability and error cause analysis (Firebase Crashlytics)
  • User usage pattern analysis for service improvement (Firebase Analytics)
  • Customer inquiry and support services

Performance review and photo data are stored only in the device's local storage (Realm DB) and are not transmitted to any server.

4. Retention and Destruction of Personal Information

  • App usage records and analysis data: Automatically deleted after 1 year of retention from the collection date.
  • Inquiry records: Retained for 3 years after processing is complete.
  • Performance review and photo data: Stored only on the user's device; deleted upon app removal.
  • Firebase analysis and crash data: Deleted after a certain period according to Google Firebase's retention policy.

5. Third-Party Provision of Personal Information

Jinaverse does not, in principle, provide users' personal information to third parties. However, exceptions are made in the following cases:

  • Non-identifiable data may be transmitted to Firebase (Provider: Google LLC) for service quality improvement and error analysis.
    • Information transmitted: App usage logs, crash information, device information, Firebase Installation ID
    • Purpose of use: Error analysis, service improvement
    • Retention period: According to Google Firebase policy
    • Related policy: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
  • When required by law
  • When requested by investigative agencies in accordance with legal procedures

6. User Rights

Users may exercise the following rights at any time:

  • Request for access to personal information
  • Request for correction or deletion of personal information
  • Request for suspension of personal information processing
  • Claim for damages

7. Technical and Administrative Measures for Personal Information Protection

  • User data is encrypted and stored safely.
  • Local storage data (Realm DB) is inaccessible to the operator or third parties.
  • Google’s security standards (HTTPS, encrypted communication) are used for Firebase integration.
  • Access rights management and internal security training are implemented.
  • Security programs are periodically updated and inspected.

8. App Access Permissions

The app requests the following access permissions:

Required Permissions

  • Notification
    • Purpose: To provide performance schedule alerts
    • If denied: You cannot receive schedule notifications

Optional Permissions

  • Photo Library
    • Purpose: For profile photo setup and attaching photos to performance reviews
    • If denied: Photo-related features cannot be used

You can still use basic app features even if you deny optional permissions.

9. External Services and SDK Usage

Jinaverse uses the following external services for app quality and stable operation:

  • Firebase (Google LLC): Error analysis (Crashlytics), usage statistics (Analytics), app integrity verification (AppCheck)
  • Notion API (Notion Labs, Inc.): Performance data lookup
  • KOPIS: Performance schedule data lookup
  • Naver News API: Performance-related news information
  • Local Data Storage (Realm DB): Stores user content locally on the device (No server transmission)
  • Network Communication (Alamofire): API communication for app features (No advertising or tracking data)

10. Background Sync (Upcoming)

The app synchronizes schedule data in the background to manage notification limits. Data processed includes performance schedule data, device information, and notification status. This data is handled locally on the device and can be disabled in iOS Settings.

12. Duty of Notification

This policy is effective as of the enforcement date. Any additions, deletions, or modifications due to changes in laws or policies will be notified at least 7 days prior through the app or website.


Addendum (January 14, 2026)

Article 1 (Effective Date) This policy shall take effect on January 21, 2026. (Announcement Date: January 14, 2026)

Article 2 (Change of Entity and Data Succession)

  1. As of January 14, 2026, the operating entity has transitioned from an individual developer to a sole proprietorship (Rounder Works).
  2. As this service operates without a separate membership system, users who do not wish for this data succession may exercise their right to opt-out by deleting the app. (To request the deletion of past inquiry email records, please contact hello@rounderworks.com.)
  3. The actual developer and management responsible for the service remain the same.
